Aryaman Sharma is a student at The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, where he studies Mathematics AI, Biology, and Psychology at Higher Level as part of the IB Diploma Programme. His interest in sustainability and climate science is something that has developed over the years, through both academic exploration in school and practical exposure outside of it; particularly through independent research and observations he has made when it comes to current environmental systems, waste management, and sustainability practices in India and around the world. Most recently, he will be exploring circular economy models, recycling systems, and environmental responsibility through an internship with Elima, a sustainability-focused startup working on waste management innovation and environmental impact solutions.
Outside the classroom, Aryaman is also a trained pianist pursuing his Trinity Grade 6 examination, with interests in classical and jazz music. For him, sustainability is not just about large-scale systems or big-term policies, but also about awareness, preservation and protection in everyday life. Through this project, he hopes to encourage conversations and provide legitimate support, so as to help otherwise underserved communities become a little more… air aware.
