In August 2026, I designed and distributed a three-part pamphlet series (in both English and Hindi) focused on the impact of air pollution on children’s health, wellbeing, and daily functioning among community members for awareness and protection. The pamphlets were designed to be accessible, concise, and community-oriented, translating environmental health information into actionable steps for families living in high-exposure urban areas.
Each pamphlet focused on addressing a specific concern. Namely:
“Breathing & Learning”: The relationship between poor air quality, concentration, fatigue, headaches, and reduced academic performance.
“Sleep & Smog”: The impact of air pollution on children’s sleep quality.
“Growing Up in Polluted Cities”: The broader physical and emotional effects of prolonged pollution exposure on childres.
To add to the pamphlets, between July and August 2026, I developed a concise 3-chapter guide outlining practical measures businesses can adopt to mitigate their contribution to air pollution and improve environmental responsibility.
The guide was designed to make these ideas understandable and implementable rather than overly technical, with a focus on actions that could realistically be adopted at an organizational level. It covers both residential complexes and industrial settings, helping building managers, residents, and businesses identify pollution sources, improve everyday operational practices, and take steps towards cleaner air.
The recommendations were structured to be practical enough for individual organizations to adopt while also being scalable across larger communities and multiple sites, allowing the approach to be applied more widely.
